The PMI-SLIM linear sensor is based on potentiometric technology and guarantees reliable and repeatable measurement. It is the ideal solution for applications in the mobile hydraulics sector and provides an economical alternative to simple limit-switch systems

This new product expands Gefran’s range of mobile hydraulics solutions. In addition to transducers based on contactless magnetostrictive technology (IK series for installation with threaded flange and RK series for complete insertion in the cylinder), Gefran now offers a line of industrial potentiometers for applications that demand superior mechanical integrity, performance and longer life.

With its patented magnetic pulling system , IP68 protection level and resistance to working pressures up to 250 bar (400 bar peak) a technology already utilized in the existing PMI-12 series of potentiometers. Gefran has taken another step forward with the PMI-SLIM; optimizing the internal structure of the potentiometer by reducing its diameter to 12.7 mm.

The transducer maintains the basic characteristics of the existing series: AISI 316 stainless steel body, available with internal flange or threaded external flange, strokes from 50 mm to 1000 mm, PUR cable output for greater resistance to mechanical stress and ensures optimum price-performance ratio for this product in the hydraulic market
